Orb•Fall: ChromaCrush ("the Game", "we", "us") is a browser-based and Progressive Web App (PWA) puzzle game developed and operated by Gusto4Tech. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you play the Game, how it is used, and what choices you have.
The Game is designed to run entirely in your browser. Your game progress, settings, and player profiles are stored locally on your device using localStorage and are never sent to our servers.

- Player names and profiles you create
- Game progress, scores, and statistics
- Audio, difficulty, and visual settings
- License key status (for ad-free access)

- Anonymised usage and gameplay analytics (Google Analytics 4)

- Purchase and license verification data (LemonSqueezy, only when you buy a license)

📊 Google Analytics 4 (Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised gameplay analytics — such as which game modes are played, session length, and feature usage. This helps us improve the Game. No personally identifiable information (PII) is intentionally sent to Google Analytics.
Data collected: device type, browser version, in-game events (game started, level completed, game over), anonymised player identifier.
📢 Google AdSense (Advertising)
The Game displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. Users who have purchased an ad-free license will not see AdSense ads.
Data collected by Google: cookie identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, ad interaction data.

🛒 LemonSqueezy (Payments & License Verification)
If you purchase an ad-free license, the transaction is processed by LemonSqueezy. We receive only the license key and validation status needed to activate ad-free mode. Payment details (card numbers, etc.) are handled entirely by LemonSqueezy and are never seen by us.
App Stores & Distribution
Orb•Fall: ChromaCrush is distributed as a web application and Progressive Web App (PWA) directly through your browser — it does not require installation through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
When you add the Game to your home screen via your browser's "Add to Home Screen" feature, no additional data is shared with the browser vendor beyond what your browser normally collects during ordinary web browsing.
If future native app versions are released through app stores, this policy will be updated to reflect the applicable store's data practices.
Cookies & Local Storage
- localStorage — used exclusively to store your game data locally on your device. Not transmitted to any server.
- Google AdSense cookies — set by Google to serve and measure advertisements. You can manage or block these through your browser's cookie settings or via Google's ad personalisation controls.
- Google Analytics cookies — used to associate in-game events with an anonymous session. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out link above.
Children's Privacy
The Game is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your Rights
Because your game data is stored only on your own device, you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage (Settings → Privacy → Clear site data in most browsers, or via the "Reset All Stats & Progress" option in the Game's settings menu).

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Game after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
